Christie Martin is a jewelry
designer originally from San Jose California where her
love of jewelry started in elementary school. She would
macrame chokers and earrings and give them as gifts to
family and friends. She has now replaced wax cord and
wooden beads for sterling silver and a torch.

About Christie Martin Jewelry
Her first official jewelry business began
in 1993 in San Francisco as "Sangiorgi Disegni"
while at San Francisco State University. As a metal smith
student she showed work in galleries, museums, and even
had a piece go to the white house warranting a thank you
letter from Hillary Clinton.
Her love for fashion, however, took her
to New York where she interned, then worked for Vass Ludacer.
Even though New York captured her heart, California was
calling her name and she knew that was where she had to
go back to start her new business.
Christie became an owner in a Fred Segal
store in Santa Monica and she and her partner started a
jewelry line called Segal Martin. After a couple of years
Christie itched to be on her own again. Her line under her
own namesake is now in almost every major magazine (including
Elle, Lucky, InStyle, Teen Vogue, Ocean Drive, ID, Jane,
Marie Claire, W, The Face, and Fader) and on covers such
as Rolling Stone, Maxim, FHM, King, and Seventeen. Her Jewelry
is also sold in the US, UK, Canada, France, Japan, Puerto
Rico, Lebanon and the Caribbean. In 2004 Christie Martin
became the recipient of the prestigious Gen Arts “Fresh
Face in Fashion” award.
Christie Martin jewelry has been seen on
shows such as American Idol, Ashley Simpson Show, Eve, Oprah,
The Sharon Osbourne Show, CBS Morning Show, Good Day LA,
Teen Choice Awards and on music videos such as Britney Spears
“Toxic”, Black Eyed Peas “Shut Up”,
Sheryl Crows “The First Cut is the Deepest”
and Justin Timberlakes “Seniorita”. Movies such
as “Into the Blue”, “Sky High” and
“El Muerto” have also used the jewelry on their
stars. The jewelry has also been used in the runway shows
of Ashley Paige and Heatherette. Christie’s jewelry
has also been sported on the Red Carpet by celebrities such
as Paris Hilton, Paulina Rubio, Nikki Costa, and Fergie
(Black Eyed Peas). Christie herself has made personal appearances
on Extra and Entertainment Tonight.
